Tercet Limited (“Tercet”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through matcha.ng and our sales channels, how we use it, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, phone number, email, delivery address and what you bought.
• Payment details: payments are processed by Paystack and SeerBit. We receive confirmation of payment but do not see or store your full card details.
• Account details: if you create an account or sign in with a social account (such as Google or Facebook), we receive basic profile details such as your name and email.
• Messages: anything you send us through our contact form, email or WhatsApp.
• Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.
• Usage data: information about how you use the site, such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• to process, deliver and support your orders (contract),
• to reply to your questions and run our WhatsApp community (legitimate interest or consent),
• to send newsletters and offers, only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time (consent),
• to understand and improve our site and advertising (legitimate interest or consent),
• to prevent fraud and spam, and to meet legal and tax obligations (legal obligation).

Cookies and advertising tools

We use cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, Pinterest and Jetpack statistics, to measure site traffic and the performance of our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with service providers who help us run the business: payment processors (Paystack, SeerBit), delivery partners, our website host, email and messaging tools, analytics and advertising platforms, and spam protection (Akismet). Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria, and we rely on appropriate safeguards when they do. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes, and other data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, or ask for a copy of your data. Email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

We use secure connections (HTTPS) and reputable service providers, but no online system is completely secure.

Children
